2008 Fishing Reports

Updated: 04/19/08

Well we just got back from fishing Old Glory,

what a blast. I took down two flyrods, and two

floatrods. I used the floatrods 99% of the time.

For those of you that are not familiar with the

floatrod/centerpin setup, do yourself a favor.

Plan on booking a centerpin fishing trip for trout/salmon

with me this summer/fall. I will supply all the gear, you just supply the body and the willingness to learn a different but deadly way of fishing.

What I was able to do with the centerpin in the low

and slow water, was simply amazing. Here are

some pics.

Above, is Mike with his first steelhead of the trip.

Below, John landed this big chrome hen.

There were springers and holdovers throughout

the system. With some big brutes backing out.

It's always a plus when you go with a group of guys

that you enjoy being around, and that are accomplished

fishermen themselves.

Here is a buck that measured out to a whopping 41 inches!

I will post more pictures from this trip soon!

King fishing is just around the corner, don't

wait until the last minutes to make your

reservations. Book now, for the early season special!

And remember, I'm looking for some ceterpinners to teach,

and take fishing.
