| The
Alaskan Chinook Salmon (Oncorhynchus Tshawytscha),
the MIGHTY King. The glacier fed, driftboat
based Kasilof River (on the Kenai Peninsula),has some of the fastest
paced King Salmon fishing that this state
has to offer. This relatively short and
shallow river on the Kenai Peninsula is
directly correlated with the tides….
Meaning, that every tide has the potential
of bringing in loads of dime-bright, sea
lice-laden fish.
The
action and adrenaline rush that these fish, fresh from the ocean create,
has to be experienced to be believed. First run Kasilof Kings, on average,
are smaller in size (18-35lb) when compared to the giant Kenai River Kings.
But, the tradeoff is higher concentrations of fish, and consistent hook-ups.
D Ray Personal Guide Service provides a clean and comfortable Coast Guard
approved, 21ft. heated driftboat, along with G-Loomis graphite rods and top-of-the-line
baitcasting reels, to help put the odds in your favor of hooking and landing
the mighty Kasilof King Salmon! Space and availability is limited.
